with leafbare officially behind the clans and what looks like a season of prosper ahead of them, the clans are looking forward to greenleaf eagerly. the lake territories are always teeming with twolegs during the warm greenleaf moons, but the clans have learned to avoid the two-legged creatures, who typically keep to themselves.
but this season seems busier than ever! twolegs have begun to gather at their greenleaf twolegplaces, but instead of the small twoleg nests they usually bring with them they have brought giant monsters! for some days they sat there, until shadowclan and thunderclan were certain no threat would come from the enormous monsters, until one afternoon when the sound of mighty snarling came from the direction of the greenleaf twolegplace. the sound was accompanied by the sharp cracking of trees as they were crushed by the monster's imposing jaws, the earth torn apart beneath its massive paws. the area beyond the greenleaf twolegplace has been destroyed. what were once good hunting grounds are no more than a field of ruin, and prey is now scarce in that area of shadowclan and thunderclan territories. another piece of thunderclan territory, the abandoned twoleg nest is also being torn apart.
monsters have also taken to windclan, though these ones are smaller and have twolegs riding on their backs. these monsters tear up the earth and scare away prey, leaving behind their acrid stench; not much prey can be found for many days after they have torn through the hills. toward the end of the month windclan camp will be destroyed and the clan will be forced to find a new one.
riverclan, though no where near the greenleaf twolegplace, hasn't escaped unscathed from the invasion of the twolegs. twoleg rubbish is being dumped into the small stream by the lakeside twolegplace, poisoning the small fish that can be caught here. many of the twolegs are also fishing, leaving riverclan with little to feed themselves with. the clan has been forced to turn to the marsh beside horseplace, where frogs and water voles are aplenty.
