The dark grey tabby was finished with his usual routine that morning. Wake up before dawn, go for a walk, hunt while he's at it and then come back to eat breakfast and maybe get some more sleep if he had time. But today he took longer then usual on his trip so he came back just when everyone was waking up. Meaning no extra hour of sleep for the dark tabby.
With a long drawn out sigh Darkstorm plodded into camp. His gaze searching the clearing as he headed over to the fresh kill pile to dispose of his prey caught. He figured he'd go find his apprentice so they could train.
Of course, unfortunately for the warrior. He got the snarky apprentice. He's have his paws full with Whitepaw no doubt. That she-cat could even match his sarcasm and wit. Certainly succeeding in testing his patience.
Huffing under his breath the warrior headed towards the apprentice den where he could find said apprentice most likely. He should at least be nice and get comfortable around each other before they start training right?
Slinking in the apprentice den Darkstorm made out the familiar white furball known as his apprentice Whitepaw and decided he'd annoy her a bit. Smirking he padded over and began poking the white cat until she acknowledged him.
@lost //Figured we should make a thread with them since they are partnered up huh?

WHITEPAW. sell your soul, not your whole self.
╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ She could see the dusty brown fur glimmering through the shivering leaves, the the tiny needle ribs rippling with each breath. Emerald eyes narrowed to distinguish the gaunt little mouse rummaging at the roots of the bush. The she-cat was crouched low, every muscle in her body tense and willing to spring like an adder on the strike. The mouse was thin and most certainly not a very impressive catch - but it was something.
Whitepaw sunk her claws into the soft earth, rocking forward on her paws. This was it, this was her chance. She leaned forward and felt a snag on her shoulder. The apprentice froze, careful not to disturb the prey that would soon be hers. The predator carefully shifted her weight in an effort to free her fur from whatever branch it had snagged on. She focused again and held her breath.
Just as she was about to lunge, again something snagged on her shoulder. The mouse darted off. A snarl of frustration tore from her lungs. Whitepaw whirled to unleash her fury rage on the branch that had cost her her catch. There was nothing.
Green eyes opened. She was back in the apprentice den, fury still pumped hot in her veins. There was a dark figure looming over her, paw extended and prodding devilishly at her shoulder. The shoulder which had been snagging the branch. Whitepaw narrowed furious green eyes at her mentor, she snapped her jaws in front of Darkstorm's paw before hauling to her paws. "You cost me my catch, mouse-brain!" The apprentice hissed irritably. Giving her bristling pelt a thorough shake, Whitepaw gave her mentor a disdainful look before moving passed him toward the entrance of the den. Evidently he was here for her, well fine - if he wanted her he could follow her like the shadow he was! ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ if you leave me then i'll be afraid of everything. @tsume - sorry for the late reply! promise i'll give you more to work with next post!

The older tabby bit his to fur to stop the annoyed come ack he wanted to say back. Out of all the apprentices that he could have been given it just had to be her didn't it? Starclan help them both if they wanted to come out of this unscathed.
"It was in a dream brat. You can get over yourself." Darkstorm snapped back as he followed Whitepaw out of the apprentice den.
"Now listen, I'm stuck with you until I seem you for to be one a warrior. So do us both a favor and work with me so we can both get this thing over with quickly." He stated with a scowl.
Normally he wouldn't be so mean. Specially to younger cats but hey, he was very easily irritated. You going to be rude to him he'll treat you the same way. He always went by the old Motto of 'if someone wants to gain your respect they first have to show respect to you.' And so far the white furball didn't come even close to that. This would be a long few moons of training.
@lost //sorry for the late and sucky reply. Got home from camp yesterday and it's very late now.
