shadowclan territory is much like its thunderclan neighbour, comprised of a thick forest of pine and fir. there is little undergrowth, and the floor is carpeted with soft pine needles. there is much twoleg activity during the warmer months in shadowclan territory. two twoleg paths run through the territory, close to the stream that borders thunderclan. a greenleaf twolegplace lies to the northeast.

riverclan territory takes up the southwestern edge of the lake. much of the land is make up of marshland and divided by streams. while there isn't much cover in terms of trees, the area is lush with foliage. tall reeds and willow trees of all shapes and sizes dot the land. the clan mostly feasts on fish and whatever else they can catch in the river, but also hunt woodland prey such as mice and voles along the edge of the marsh and horseplace.

tall, rolling hills stretch up from the lake to the west where windclan makes their home. the hills are bare of trees and most foliage, teeming instead with tall grass and wide patches of gorse. twolegs are a rare sight in windclan territory, though there are plenty along the border at horseplace.

each of the four clans shares a distinctive border with two other clans, marked by scent and landmarks. cats may not cross over onto another clan's territory unless under dire circumstances. during the full moon cats are allowed to travel within three tail lengths of the lake in order to reach the island where gatherings are held.
